PAZ Mourns Trip Trans Accident Victims

The Passenger Association of Zimbabwe (PAZ) is mourning the 10 victims of the Trip Trans bus accident that occurred on Wednesday along the *lGokwe–Kwekwe Highway.
The tragic accident happened when the bus, which was heading towards Kwekwe, hit a lorry while the driver attempted to overtake another vehicle.
“The Passenger Association of Zimbabwe extends its deepest condolences to the entire nation, and to the families and friends affected by the Trip Trans bus accident on 27 May along the Gokwe road. We pray that the families of the deceased find comfort and strength during this time of sorrow,” PAZ said in a statement from its information desk.
The bus had 36 passengers on board at the time of the accident. PAZ also took the opportunity to wish the injured a speedy recovery. “We also wish a speedy and full recovery to everyone injured in the accident,” the association said.
