Time Travel Party! Socialite Takes Guests Back in Time

Musiiwa-based businessman and socialite Stanley “Gumezulu” Masamha marked his 51st birthday with a stylish, vintage-themed celebration that left guests raving.
Held on Sunday, 21 September, at the scenic Lions Head Dam, the party was a well-organized and lively affair, attracting guests from across the country. From classic fashion to vibrant entertainment and sumptuous food, the event delivered everything it promised — and more.
True to the theme, attendees showed up dressed in retro-style outfits, reviving the charm of decades gone by. Speaking before the event, Gumez said the goal was to create a unique identity for his birthday celebrations.
“We instructed all invited guests to dress the vintage way as a way of creating something unique. We want this to be our signature going forward,” said Masamha.
After the lakeside celebration, guests proceeded to Musiiwa Business Centre for an after-party at Chakanyuka Hotel, where the festivities continued late into the night.
