Blackmorevale Primary School,a local school from Chakari B Cluster,made history when it won the choral competitions, to the surprise of many.lt was the institution’s maiden appearance at the choral cluster competitions.

Held in preparation for the National Association Of Primary School Heads(NAPH) district competitions,the cluster competitions saw eight schools battling it out in the areas of traditional dance, percussion and choral music.

The Blackmorevale Primary choral success was a result of the hard work by the school administration, the choir and the choral director – Liliosa Matumba(aka Rirowacho).

October 20 saw the primary school’s star shining even brighter with its traditional team’s victory in the traditional dance competitions.The qualifications meant that the two teams automatically qualified for the district competitions which were scheduled for John Mack Hall in Kadoma.
